Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Fernwood Ember Markets Group serves neighbourhoods around New Orleans with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 180 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of shrink and waste and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with promotions. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
