Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Foxglove Drift Civic Services Group supports public agencies in Austin with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Model the cost of permits and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with constituent requests. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
