Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (remote)

Summit River Water Authority is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Memphis. • We reply to every applicant.
