Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Providence, RI)

Cedar Ember Financial is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for vendor spend, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 172 people based in Providence. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of vendor spend and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with account servicing.
