Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Philadelphia, PA)

Fernwood Orchard Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Philadelphia area, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with field visits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
