Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (New Orleans, LA)

Cedar Glen Banking Services is a community-focused bank in New Orleans serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Model the cost of branch operations and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with loan files. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
