Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Memphis, TN)

Clearpath Umber Civic Services works with county and city offices around Memphis. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of procurement and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with budget submissions. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
