Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Northwind Meridian Foods Partners and adding a Senior Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be budgeting and forecasting. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Model the cost of sanitation schedules and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
