Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Jackson, MS)

Foxglove Lantern Insurance is an insurance company in Jackson with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of underwriting files and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
