Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Grand Rapids, MI)

Summit Corner Insurance is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. The job centres on budgeting and forecasting for customer complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 96 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of customer complaints and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with catastrophe response.
