Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Grand Rapids, MI)

Amberfield Rowan Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of budget submissions and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with public records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
