Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Fort Worth, TX)

Ironwood Amber Insurance is an insurance company in Fort Worth with claims and service teams, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Fort Worth. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of premium billing and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with catastrophe response. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
