Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Fort Worth, TX)

Cedar Forge Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Fort Worth design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of route schedules and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
