Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Detroit, MI)

Harborlight Glen Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Detroit area, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of outage reports and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with network equipment. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
