Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Buffalo, NY)

Foxglove Stone Transit Planning Group helps transport agencies around Buffalo design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Model the cost of service alerts and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
