Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Boston, MA)

Fernwood River Markets Partners serves neighbourhoods around Boston with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of promotions and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
