Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Boise, ID)

Summit Loom Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Boise plant. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of scrap and rework and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Boise, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
