Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Austin, TX)

Silverline Wren Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Austin, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our budgeting and forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in Austin. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
