Senior Financial Analyst - budgeting and forecasting (Austin, TX)

Westbrook Meadow Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Austin and nearby communities. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on budgeting and forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Austin. What you will do • Model the cost of water quality and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
