Senior Financial Analyst - board reporting (Sacramento, CA)

Harborlight Vale Financial serves customers across Sacramento with accounts, loans and payments, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 63 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of regulatory reports and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
