Senior Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Redstone River Markets Group operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Birmingham. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of supplier deliveries and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
