Senior Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Fernwood Hollow Energy is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. The job centres on board reporting for outage response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 128 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Model the cost of outage response and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
