Senior Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Lumen Ashton Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Kansas City. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 428 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of procurement and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with case files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
