Senior Financial Analyst - board reporting (remote)

Bluepeak Loom Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Omaha. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Model the cost of catastrophe response and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
