Senior Financial Analyst - board reporting (Oakland, CA)

Harborlight Summit Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Oakland area. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. Families are partners. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of learning materials and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
