Senior Financial Analyst - board reporting (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Lumen Ashton Civic Services and adding a Senior Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be board reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 308 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Model the cost of procurement and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with public records. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
