Senior Financial Analyst - board reporting (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Nova Vale Water Authority Group and adding a Senior Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be board reporting. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of pipe repairs and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
