Senior Financial Analyst - board reporting (Grand Rapids, MI)

Westbrook Fern Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Grand Rapids area. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 383 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
