Senior Dispatcher - driver support (remote)

Northwind Lakeside Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Austin. We are hiring a Senior Dispatcher to take on driver support. You would join a small organisation of about 60 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling weigh tickets on changes. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of weigh tickets. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
