Senior Dispatcher - driver support (Providence, RI)

Nova Quarry Environmental Services is looking for a Senior Dispatcher. The job centres on driver support for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Providence. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling collection routes on changes. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of collection routes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
