Senior Dispatcher - driver support (Philadelphia, PA)

Summit Umber Freight is a Philadelphia logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Senior Dispatcher to lead our driver support. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling proof of delivery on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Philadelphia. • We reply to every applicant.
