Senior Dispatcher - driver support (Omaha, NE)

Nova Quill Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Omaha, and we need a Senior Dispatcher to lead our driver support. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of dock schedules. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
