Senior Dispatcher - driver support (Kansas City, MO)

Amberfield Hollow Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Kansas City. We are hiring a Senior Dispatcher to take on driver support. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of dock schedules. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
