Senior Dispatcher - driver support (Jacksonville, FL)

Fernwood Harbor Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Jacksonville, and we need a Senior Dispatcher to lead our driver support. You would join a large organisation of about 312 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of customer tracking. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
