Senior Dispatcher - driver support (Grand Rapids, MI)

Amberfield Ashton Inspection Services is looking for a Senior Dispatcher. The job centres on driver support for scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling scheduling on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of scheduling. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
