Senior Dispatcher - driver support (Charleston, SC)

Highbridge Oak Freight is a Charleston logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Senior Dispatcher to lead our driver support. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling loads and lanes on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
