Senior Dispatcher - daily route planning (Seattle, WA)

Bluepeak Sparrow Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Seattle. We are hiring a Senior Dispatcher to take on daily route planning. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling weigh tickets on changes. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
