Senior Dispatcher - daily route planning (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Juniper Freight and adding a Senior Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be daily route planning. You would join a large organisation of about 330 people based in Reno. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of customer tracking. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
