Senior Dispatcher - daily route planning (remote)

Redstone Mill Freight is a Kansas City logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Senior Dispatcher to lead our daily route planning. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of dock schedules. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
