Senior Dispatcher - daily route planning (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Orchard Freight Group and adding a Senior Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be daily route planning. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling loads and lanes on changes. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of loads and lanes. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
