Senior Dispatcher - daily route planning (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Orchard Freight Partners and adding a Senior Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be daily route planning. We reward reliability. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
