Senior Dispatcher - daily route planning (remote)

Lumen Quarry Freight is looking for a Senior Dispatcher. The job centres on daily route planning for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling proof of delivery on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of proof of delivery. • Experience with routing software.
