Senior Dispatcher - daily route planning (remote)

Bright Keystone Freight Group moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Birmingham. We are hiring a Senior Dispatcher to take on daily route planning. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling loads and lanes on changes. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of loads and lanes. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
