Senior Dispatcher - daily route planning (remote)

Fernwood Rowan Freight is looking for a Senior Dispatcher. The job centres on daily route planning for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling proof of delivery on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of proof of delivery. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
