Senior Dispatcher - daily route planning (Philadelphia, PA)

Silverline Harbor Freight is a Philadelphia logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Senior Dispatcher to take on daily route planning. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling loads and lanes on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of loads and lanes. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
