Senior Dispatcher - daily route planning (Dallas, TX)

Rivermark Sparrow Freight is a Dallas logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Senior Dispatcher to lead our daily route planning. You would join a small organisation of about 168 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling loads and lanes on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of loads and lanes. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
