Senior Dispatcher - customer updates (Seattle, WA)

We are growing our team at Summit Oak Environmental Services and adding a Senior Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be customer updates. You would join a large organisation of about 892 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling collection routes on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of collection routes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
