Ironwood Fern Freight is looking for a Senior Dispatcher. The job centres on customer updates for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 861 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling carrier rates on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling.
