Senior Dispatcher - customer updates (remote)

Redstone Mill Freight is a Kansas City logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Senior Dispatcher to take on customer updates. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling carrier rates on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of carrier rates. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
