Senior Dispatcher - customer updates (remote)

Bluepeak Sparrow Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Charleston. We are hiring a Senior Dispatcher to take on customer updates. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling weigh tickets on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
